The cartoon "Phineas and Ferb" expresses that even though your little you can use imagination to create things. It expresses that you don't always have to be an adult to do something (like Phineas and Ferb are two boys who always create things.) It also expresses to don't always tell on what someone is doing that isn't bad because things will go on not well (like Candace who always tells her mom and her mom thinks she is crazy because every time her mom comes to what they have done it goes away.)

Symbol

With its acute eyesight, the eagle has come to embody an all-seeing EYE. The Roman, French, Austrian, German, and American peoples have all adopted this image as their symbol. Hence, a two-headed eagle has come to often mean the union of two nations, but it also means creative power. In psychological symbology, the eagle is viewed as "a mightily winged creature in the heavens of the mind" (Biederman, 110). Since it lives in full light of the sun, it is considered luminous and shares characteristics with air and fire. Through its detachment from earth it represents spirit and soul. Dante has called the eagle of 'bird of God', while Jung defines it merely as height.

We chose the symbol of eagle because it represents light and expresses freedom.The enemies of the eagle are the owl and serpent.The eagle signifies inspiration,victory,longevity,speed,pride,father,and royalty.The eagle is also known to be connected with the sky god(s).If the eagle is in combat with a bull or lion it represents spirit.If the eagle is in combat with a serpent it represents strggle and unity.

Short Story

The story "Dragon, Dragon" is about a dragon who is terrorizing a kingdom.The king had told all of his kingdom to come to help him stop the dragon. The king had then said who ever had killed the dragon will marry the princess and will become king. People from the kingdom said that why didn't the wizard said a spell to stop it. Others said that why didn't the knights stop it. The king said that the wizard had lost his spell book and was losing his memory. The king also said that he told his knights lots of times but they don't want to go, and he can't force them. The wizard was thinking of the spell he said that it went something like- Bimble, Wimble, Cha, Cha CHOOMPF! Suddenly the queen turned into a rosebush. The wizard had done the wrong spell, then the three sons of a cobbler came. The first son had said that he was going to fight the dragon. He told his father if he had any advice. The cobbler said that when he was in the dragon lair to say the poem- Dragon, Dragon, how do you do? I've come from the king to murder you. The older son didn't recite the poem so the dragon had ate him. The second son had then went, first he had told his father for advice. His father told him the same advice he had told the older son, to recite the poem. The middle son didn't said the poem, so the dragon also ate him. It was the youngest son turn to go and fight. Again he went to ask for his father for some advice and again he said to recite the poem. The youngest son went to the dragon's lair a said the poem- Dragon, Dragon, how do you do? I've come from the king to murder you. The dragon had started to laugh- He, he, he, ho, ha!!! Then he question- You? You? Murder Me??? Once he started to laugh the youngest son got mad, he got his sword and killed him. He then saved his older brothers, and he also saw treasures. Healso saw the wizard's book of spells. When he went back to the kingdom eveyone was happy. The wizard then made the rosebush (queen) to a queen. The younger son then married the princess and became king.

The story "Dragon, Dragon" expresses that even though some people are older than you they might have a great advice. Alsoit expresses that even though you are the youngest son, doen't mean that since you are the smallest you can't do noting (like in the story the youngest son killed the dragon.) The story also expresses that always listen to older people's advice, who know things better than you.

Poem

Myself By Edgar A. Guest

I have to live with myself, and so
I want to be fit for myself to know,
I want to be able, as days go by,
Always to look myself straight in the eye;
I don't want to stand, with the setting sun,
And hate myself for things I have done.

I don't want to keep on a closet shelf
A lot of secrets about myself,
And fool myself, as I come and go,
Into thinking that nobody else will know
The kind of person I really am;
I don't want to dress up myself in sham.

I want to go out with my head erect,
I want to deserve all men's respect;
But here in struggle for fame and pelf
I want to be able to like myself.
I don't want to look at myself and know
That I'm bluster and bluff and empty show.

I can never hide myself from me;
I see what others may never see;
I know what others may never know,
I never can fool myself, and so,
Whatever happens, I want to be
Self-respecting and conscience free.

The poem "Myself" expresses our selves to become better at things and to always be our selves. The poem also expresses to do our best in everything. It also expresses us to like who we are and to always be our selves and never change. "Myself" also expresses us to always be able to live with our selves. Most of all it expresses to be our selves.

The Movie HSM3 is about the latest sequel that follows high school seniors Troy and Gabriella, who are faced with the ultimate prospect of being separated from one another as they go off in different directions after graduating from East High. The High School Musical trilogy expresses being an idividual. It shows your not labled and you can be whatever you want. For example Jocks who cook and bake and "nerds" who can dance. T.V. Show

In the T.V. show, That's So Raven, Raven is a typical teenage who just happens to be psychic. The only problem is that Raven's sneek peeks into the future can make her (and her best friends Eddie and Chelsea) jump to wrong conclusions. Somehow, they manage to create more problems than they solve.

That's So Raven expresses to be who you are. It also expresses that even though you are different you are your self. That's So Raven also expresses that being different is okay (like in the T.V. show Raven is a psychic teenage girl who has visions.) The T.V. show expresses a lot of things such as not being normal doesn't change noting of you and to be who you are.

Novel

This novel is about a kid named Donald Zinkoff who is one of the greatest kids you could ever hope to meet. He laughs easily, he likes people, he loves school, he tries to rescue lost girls in blizzards, he talks to old ladies. The only problem is, he's a "Loser." Until fourth grade, Zinkoff's uncontrollable giggling in class, sloppy handwriting, horrible flute playing, bad grades, clumsiness, and ineptitude at sports go largely unnoticed. When he blows a race for his team, however, his transition to loserdom is complete: "[Loser] is the word. It is Zinkoff's new name. It is not in the roll book." Fortunately, he doesn't really notice. Jerry Spinelli (the author of this book) explores the cruelty of a student body and how it does and doesn't affect one student, pure of spirit. Presumably if Loser makes one child view a "different kid" as a three-dimensional character, Spinelli will consider his book successful.

The novel expresses people to be the way they are and to not listen to what other people say about them. It also expresses people to be the way they are. In the story there was a boy named Donald Zinkoff. People had called him "Loser." Also being a loser isn't anything different than someone else. The novel also tells a lesson that being different or a loser doesn't change change anything about you. The novel expresses a lot of things such as being a loser doesn't change who you are.
